K-12 Chesskiddo Tournament December 14, 2024 at 12:30PM

EVENT OVERVIEW:

3 or 4 rounds of Swiss, G/25 +5. This chess tournament is only for players in grades K-12. All games are USCF rated, so USCF membership is required for all sections, except for the Starter Section. The Starter Section won’t require US Chess membership, and ratings won’t be computed.

ROUNDS:

For the 2024-25, all tournaments will begin at 12:30 P.M. All pre-registered participants must arrive no earlier than 12:00 P.M. and no later than 12:15 P.M. We will have an opening ceremony at 12:15 P.M. All games are USCF rated, except for the Starter Section. The Starter Section won’t require US Chess membership, and ratings won’t be computed.

PRIZES:

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 players in all sections. Additionally, any player who scores 3 or more points but doesn’t win a trophy will receive a medal. For the Starter section, all participants will receive a small trophy.

We pre-order all our trophies in advance. To ensure your child receives a trophy in the Starter Section, please register no later than five days before the tournament, or by the Monday of the tournament week. For example, if the tournament is on December 14, registration must be completed by December 9 to receive the trophy on the day of the tournament.
