Are you ready to take part in the competition and test your skills? Join the Sit & Go Chess Tournament and compete for great awards while gaining USCF rating points. Our sit & go chess tournaments offer a fun and competitive environment for chess players of all levels.

Rated Sections:
Starter Section
K-3 Starter (Unrated Section)
Primary Section
K-4 Under 600 (4 rounds) Designed for K-4 students with an unrated or a rating below 600.
Elementary Section
K-12 Under 900 (4 rounds): Open to K-12 students with an unrated or a rating below 900.
Championship Section
K-12 Under 1300 (3 rounds): Open to K-12 students with an unrated or a rating below 1300.

EVENT OVERVIEW:
4 rounds of Swiss, G/25 +5. This chess tournament is only for players in grades K-12. It requires USCF membership for all sections. All games are USCF rated. However, the Starter section won’t require US Chess membership, and ratings won’t be computed.
TIME CONTROL:
All sections will be G/30 or G/25; d5
ENTRY FEE:
The fee is $50 until January 16, and after that, it’s $60. On-site registrations are not permitted for this tournament.
PRIZES:
Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 players in all sections, along with a trophy for the best team. Additionally, any player who scores 3 or more points but doesn’t win a trophy will receive a medal. For the Starter section, all participants will receive a small trophy, and chess ratings and points won’t be counted.
ROUNDS:
The tournament will begin at 12:30 PM and continue as soon as possible. A single half-point bye is available for any round, including the final round. All players will participate in 4 rounds.
